Nugenix Total-T Review: The Tesnor Formula Compared

TESTOGEN · FORMULA COMPARISON

Nugenix Total-T is not the same formula as standard Nugenix T-Booster. The current manufacturer table lists Tesnor, elevATP and individually stated amounts for its principal actives. This review assesses that version and compares it with Testogen Ultimate, without mixing in older Total-T labels.

Published by Testogen, the brand behind Testogen Ultimate. We have a commercial interest in the recommendations below. This assessment compares formulas and research; it is not a personal-use test.

OUR VERDICT

Our recommendation

We recommend Testogen Ultimate for shoppers who want a wider nutrient foundation alongside a varied botanical formula. Total-T offers its own distinct branded ingredients and deserves credit for stating their amounts. Testogen’s appeal is its P5P B6, magnesium, D3, MK-7 K2 and copper, together with KSM-66 and other specified extracts.

Testogen Ultimate, one-month supply
13 active ingredients
4 capsules per daily serving

Start with the exact Total-T version

The assessed three-capsule serving contains 400 mg Tesnor, 150 mg elevATP, 1,125 mg citrulline malate and 100 mg tongkat ali. It also supplies B6, B12, zinc and boron. The manufacturer table does not list Testofen in this version.

That matters because a review of an older formula can give a misleading impression of what you will receive. Standard Nugenix has a different blend structure, while Total-T’s principal entries are individually quantified. Criticising Total-T as if all its main doses were hidden would be inaccurate.

“Not included” means absent from the assessed formula. “Not verified” means the available information does not establish the detail; it does not imply the brand hides it. Blend totals and their ingredients must not be added together twice.

Testogen Ultimate: 13 active ingredients. Mineral figures are nutrient amounts, not the weight of the full mineral compound.

Nugenix Total-T: Current Tesnor version. Eight principal active entries; Tesnor and elevATP constituents are also shown for completeness and must not be added to the blend total. This is distinct from standard Nugenix T-Booster and older Testofen versions of Total-T.

Capsule and other ingredients

Testogen Ultimate: Vegetable-cellulose capsule and NuFLOW rice-hull ingredient.

Nugenix Total-T: Gelatin, rice flour, magnesium stearate and silica.

Branded blends still need precise reading

The elevATP entry is a 150 mg combination of ancient peat and apple fruit extracts. It is not 150 mg of each. Tesnor is a 400 mg blend of cocoa bean and pomegranate peel extracts, identified by its ingredient supplier. The individual weights are not disclosed. We show both constituents without guessing their quantities.

Testogen similarly needs to be read at the correct level: a mineral amount is not the full compound weight, and an extract is not an equivalent mass of raw herb. Accurate comparisons start with those distinctions rather than adding every number into one supposedly decisive total.

The reasons Testogen is our preferred alternative

Total-T supplies 1 mg zinc; Testogen supplies 25 mg as monomethionine. We prefer Testogen’s broader nutritional coverage, which also includes magnesium, vitamin D3, MK-7 K2 and copper. Its B6 is P5P rather than pyridoxine hydrochloride. Those are identifiable differences in composition, not a claim that more zinc always produces more testosterone.

Testogen also brings KSM-66, fenugreek, Panax ginseng and nettle root into the same daily serving. Total-T includes B12 and elevATP, which Testogen does not. Our recommendation favours Testogen’s combination for a broad supplement brief while recognising that someone specifically seeking Total-T’s branded blend has a different priority.

Boron, capsules and daily routine

Total-T contains 10 mg boron as glycinate, versus Testogen’s 5 mg as bisglycinate. We do not treat the larger amount as an automatic advantage. Compare all sources before combining supplements.

Total-T uses three capsules and Testogen uses four. Total-T’s capsule is gelatin, with rice flour, magnesium stearate and silica in the other-ingredient list. Testogen’s vegetable-cellulose and rice-hull profile is shorter and avoids gelatin. That can make Testogen a more attractive choice for someone who wants that capsule profile, without suggesting that every permitted excipient is harmful.

Evidence and sensible expectations

The tables compare composition, not proven head-to-head outcomes. A named extract can help identify what is being studied, but an ingredient study does not automatically validate a finished multi-ingredient product. For example, KSM-66 has been studied at 300 mg twice daily in a resistance-training trial; Testogen’s 200 mg serving is different. 2

D-aspartic acid research also includes mixed findings. We do not promise that adding it, or choosing the longest formula, will produce a particular testosterone increase. Our recommendation reflects the combination and ingredient detail we prefer. 3

Check suitability before combining supplements

Testogen supplies 100 mcg (4,000 IU) vitamin D3 daily, at the commonly used adult upper intake level. Count other sources; this is not a target everyone should aim to reach. 1

Do not stack these formulas simply because their ingredients differ. Check nutrient overlap, medicines and health conditions with an appropriate professional. Persistent fatigue or changes in sexual health deserve assessment rather than an assumption that a supplement will resolve them.

Questions before choosing

Is this the standard Nugenix review?

No. This covers Total-T’s current Tesnor formulation. The separate standard Nugenix review covers its different formula.

Does Total-T hide every dose in a proprietary blend?

No. Its principal amounts are disclosed. Individual elevATP constituent weights are not separated, and Tesnor’s cocoa bean and pomegranate peel quantities are not individually stated.

Does Testogen contain elevATP?

No. We favour Testogen for its wider nutrient and botanical combination, not because it replicates every Total-T ingredient.

Our final choice

Total-T offers a distinct, named-blend approach with clear principal quantities. Testogen Ultimate is our preferred overall alternative because its broader nutrient coverage, specified forms and short other-ingredient list better fit the formula we want to recommend. That is the basis for our choice, rather than a claim of proven head-to-head superiority.

How this assessment was made

Assessed on 11 September 2026 using the identified manufacturer information and supplied labels. Complete declared active lists include competitor-only ingredients and blend members where identified. Unknown details remain marked rather than treated as absent. Ingredient forms, extract weights and raw-herb equivalents are kept distinct. This is commercially interested editorial analysis, not independent testing or a clinical ranking.
